SLC has had a few of those monster storms too, seems like they happened mostly in my childhod. I love them. We lived at the end of the street and the snowplow would pile it all up in front of our house. We had 10 foot high, 10 foot deep compacted drifts we would spend all snow day tunneling out. Loved it.

I remember when I was at Ft Drum, we would climb up on top of the storage milvans out at the airfield, and jump off into the drifts that had blown up against them. That was fun, but you had to be careful and not slip on takeoff or you just went in headfirst.
